Story

She was delighted when she learnt that their family would soon welcome a new addition. She resolved to prepare herself to become the best older sister ever! Without wasting any time, she rummaged through her trunk for her old plastic baby doll. She bathed the doll, and covered it with a clean white cloth, fed it, and rocked it to sleep with a lullaby. A few months later, her baby brother came home, on the day of Raksha Bandhan. She stared at his pink face in awe and pulled out a tiny rakhi she’d made from scraps of cloth. Affixing it to his chubby wrist, she exclaimed, “Maaro nano bhai! I love you so much!”
